Four mice were imaged with OCT and ultrasound. The skin on the ventral side of the mouse leg was removed and the mouse was placed on its back on a special gel bed. Additional ultrasound gel was placed on the dorsal side of the leg. The leg was imaged from the dorsal side through the gel with ultrasound. The leg was imaged from the ventral side with OCT.

Overview: a typical ultrasound image and a typical OCT image. Both the magnitude and velocity OCT images are shown.
