Wisconsin-La Crosse for 1998/1999 school year.

Operation Primary Physical Science - three courses taught for 27 kindergarten
through 3rd grade teachers, covering basic optics and magnetism (1997),
sound and music, and basics of matter (1998).

3 Research Experience
-
1996 - Present - Operation, improvement, and maintenance of a FIR
direct discharge molecular gas laser, high resolution Stark spectrometer,
and auxiliary optical devices. Far-infrared laser Stark spectroscopy of
symmetric and slightly asymmetric top molecules of astronomical interest,
using HCN, DCN, and water vapor lasers. Preliminary analysis of Stark
spectra to determine transition frequencies, dipole moments, etc.

Research Associate for the Summer 1999 Goddard Space Flight Center NASA
Academy, worked on a dual frequency miniature Lidar for planetary aerosol
and wind detection with Mr. Bruce Gentry. Duties included; mounting
and alignment of optical components, preliminary testing and evaluation
of system components, design and fabrication of an electronic gating circuit,
and preliminary software design for external modulation of a diode laser.

Joined Atmospheric Remote Sensing Laboratory, at the University of Arizona,
in Tucson, October 1999.
