Call for Papers
The 1998 ICSEE Conference will bring together experts and colleagues who are
interested in the fast-growing area of simulation and multimedia-based
engineering education. The Conference will focus on:
- Experiences in Integrating Computers and Software Tools in Engineering
Education
- Development of Multimedia Models and Their Application in Engineering
Education
- Simulation Languages, Packages, and Simulation-Based Curricula
- Evaluation of Student Performance in Computer-Based Education
- Computer-Based and Simulation-Integrated Laboratories
- New Software and Hardware Developments and Their Impact on Engineering
Education
- Virtual Reality and Potential Applications in Engineering Education
- Government and Corporate Programs and Support of Computer and
Multimedia-Based Engineering Education
The other conferences within WMC'98 shall cover the following topics:
DEADLINES:
- August 30, 1997 Submissions due to chair
- September 20, 1997 Notification of acceptance
- October 31, 1997 Camera-ready copies due
The conference will invite speakers to address state-of-the-art issues of the
topical items listed above. Interested authors are also encouraged to submit
their original contributions for possible presentation. Authors of accepted
papers are expected to attend the conference, present their work to their peers,
transfer copyright, and pay a conference registration fee at the time of
submission of their camera-ready paper. Four (4) copies of the abstract and a
two-to-four page summary should be submitted together with a cover letter
stating the name, address (postal and electronic), and phone and fax numbers of
the designated contact author. All submissions should be sent to the General
Chair.
