Final Submission
Guidelines
All accepted papers will be processed electronically. Electronic publication
of papers helps speed up the production process, ensures greater accuracy,
and builds an electronic abstract & index base. To complete the production
and final printing of your paper, the technical editor will need to receive
your manuscript (files on floppy disk plus 2 paper copies) in the formats
described below as soon as possible.
(Comment: Please keep in mind that accepted papers should be up to 20
pages long (double space), excluding graphs, figures and illustrations.)
General Rules:
- Files should be submitted on floppy disk (3.5"). Please do not
send the files via e-mail.
- Include 2 copies of the printed version, identical to the electronic
version.
- Note the operating system, software, and version number used to create
your disk:
Please write this information on the disk label.
- Illustrations should be submitted either as high quality .eps Encapsulated
Postscript Files or (hardcopy) as quality prints on separate sheets.
- Make sure your files are self contained, i.e. there are no pointers
to your system set-up.
- Check that your files are complete. Include: abstract, text, references
(bibliography), footnotes, biographies, photo's, tables and figure/table
captions.
- If possible, set manuscript column size to 20 pica or 8.4 cm (3.3 inch).
- Package diskettes to protect them in mailing.
- Please include your FAX number/postal address where proofs of the manuscript
can be sent.
For the most accurate and efficient transferral of your manuscript,
especially those containing extensive mathematics, use TeX, LaTeX or Troff
programs.
VERY IMPORTANT!: Include macros used with files.
A Baltzer Science Publishers LaTeX style file can be obtained by sending
an e-mail to: publish@baltzer.nl,
subject: 'BALTZER STYLE FILE'.
This style file can also be obtained from the WWW. The URL is: http://www.baltzer.nl/auth.inst.html.
Please:
- DO NOT put the files in a page layout software (Ventura, Quark, PageMaker,
Frame Maker).
- DO NOT send postscript files of the text.
- DO NOT send the files via e-mail.
Additional Information:
Camera-ready copies of each of the figures and tables:
(Simple tables will be typeset from your source, so they do not need
to be included). The figures will be reduced in size to single column width
(20 pica, 8.4 cm, about 3.3 inches) Please use letter sizes on the figures
that will be readable after they have been reduced.
Photos:
Photo of each of the authors. Mobile Networks and Applications publishes
photographs at the end of each article. Black and white photos reproduce
better, but color photos are acceptable.
Biographies:
At the end of each article or paper, MONET will print a biography of
each author.
These biographies are to be one or two paragraphs long. Authors are
encouraged to keep biographies terse.
Some specific suggestions. In addition to regular bio information, it
is suggested that the first paragraph must start with the author's name.
Authors may use their full names at the beginning of the article and in
this location.
Finally, if the author wishes, the publications staff encourage the
inclusion of a current postal and/or email address.
Please send the completed material to the Guest Editor of the special
issue.
