Apache Server Error Listener
Apache Server logs any errors or warning conditions into a log file for future reference. However, if an administrator weren't to check this file for several hours at a time, the error would go unnoticed and the server could be unoperational for this time period. To prevent this from happening, a policy was created to alert the administrator of all possible error/warning messages that were logged into the error log file. This was done by having a message window appear onto the desktop as soon as the message was logged. The following is a sample message window.
