DR. Dongsheng Ma received his B.S. degree with highest honors and
M.S. degree in electronic science from NanKai University in 1995 and 1998,
respectively. He received his Ph. D degree at Hong Kong University of Science
and Technology (HKUST).
In Oct. 2003, Dr. Ma joined the Department of Electrical &
Computer Engineering at Louisiana State University, as an assistant professor. He is currently an
Analog Devices assistant professor of
Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at
the University of Arizona.
Dr. Ma was the recipient of Analog Devices Endowed Chair
Professorship (2004-2006, 2006-2008), University of Arizona AAFSAA Outstanding
Faculty Award (2006), IEEE/ACM ASPDAC Best Design Award (2004). He was
also nominated for Best Paper Award in IEEE/ACM ICCAD (2007). Dr. Ma received Deutsche Forschungs Gemeinschaft
(DFG) (Germen Research Foundation) Fellowship (2002), Schmidt Award of
Excellence (2002), STMicroelectronics Scholarship (2001), IEEE Student Paper Contest
Outstanding Paper Award (Hong Kong, 2000), Huawei Scholarship (1997), Guanghua Foundation
Scholarship (1996), Excellent Graduate Student (Nankai University, 1995), Motorola
Excellent Student Fellowship (1992-1995),
and NanKai University Outstanding Freshman Fellowship (1991).
Dr. Ma’s current research involves analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit
(IC) design, advanced integrated power electronics, integrated communication and
biomedical systems. He is a senior member of IEEE. He serves on Analog Signal
Processing Technical Committee and
Computer-Aided
Circuit Network Design Technical Committee of IEEE Circuits and Systems society.
As a SRC recognized faculty, Dr. Ma
offers great opportunities to support excellent graduate students in
receiving the prestigious SRC fellowships and industrial trainings. Here
are two new opportunities:
SRC Graduate Fellowship,
SRC Master Scholarship.
