DR. Dongsheng Ma received his B.S. degree with highest honors and M.S. degree in electronic science from NanKai University in 1995 and 1998, respectively. He received his Ph. D degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).

In Oct. 2003, Dr. Ma joined the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at Louisiana State University, as an assistant professor. He is currently  an Analog Devices assistant professor of Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Ma was the recipient of Analog Devices Endowed Chair Professorship (2004-2006, 2006-2008), University of Arizona AAFSAA Outstanding Faculty Award (2006), IEEE/ACM ASPDAC Best Design Award  (2004). He was also nominated for Best Paper Award in IEEE/ACM ICCAD (2007). Dr. Ma received Deutsche Forschungs Gemeinschaft (DFG) (Germen Research Foundation) Fellowship (2002), Schmidt Award of Excellence (2002), STMicroelectronics Scholarship (2001), IEEE Student Paper Contest Outstanding Paper Award (Hong Kong, 2000), Huawei Scholarship (1997), Guanghua Foundation Scholarship (1996), Excellent Graduate Student (Nankai University, 1995), Motorola Excellent Student Fellowship (1992-1995), and NanKai University Outstanding Freshman Fellowship (1991).

Dr. Ma’s current research involves analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit (IC) design, advanced integrated power electronics, integrated communication and biomedical systems. He is a senior member of IEEE. He serves on Analog Signal Processing Technical Committee and Computer-Aided Circuit Network Design Technical Committee of IEEE Circuits and Systems society.
