The focus of my research is in the area of image processing. Specifically, signal and image processing for biomedical applications.

My Master's thesis work has been in the area of data-acquisition and signal processing for digital flow cytometry.

For my PhD work, I would like to work on imaging for other biomedical applications like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
and magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS). I am hoping to get started on some cool stuff in that area sometime this semester (Fall 2003).
