Here's a list of typos you might see on my emails, and their appropriate values. I try to keep these in alphabetical order, but it ain't easy.
'My BlackBerry'
Example, you might see, "Are you later!" if I type in a hurry, and typed the keystrokes for "See" which is identical to "Are"
Why is this?
This is because of BlackBerry's smart type. So, if you look carefully at the keyboard, you can see that each key represents two letters from QWERTY's layout. Thus, to type "Are" I type "?11", which could be any of the following combinations:
- aee
- aer
- are
- arr
- see
- ser
- sre
- srr
Out of these eight (remember: 3 choose 2 is 8!) unique combinations, Blackberry's algorithm goes with whatever fits best. I'm not sure whether usage counts, but if it's any indication, i sign "Jonathan" since "Jon" always comes up "job".

- been -> beef
- bit -> but
- boring -> Boeing (sorry, guys!)
- but -> bit
- daily -> fault
- fault -> daily
